Sullivan has a new friend, Kaija. I watched Kaija for her parents to go out and celebrate her mommy's birthday. She is a lil sweetheart and Sully was a huge helper. He wanted to hold her...for about a minute and then that was enough of that. He offered her his "BEEBO" and then after about 10 seconds said...okay give it back...it was quite comical. He also wanted to give her a bottle, but didn't quite understand why he had to remove the lid or tip it up. As I sit her typing this she is cooing and chatting away. She's so cute...check out the pictures...Sullivan says he likes her, but keeps asking when her mommy's coming back...hahaha, guess we aren't keeping her.

What a Glorious Day
Today was a gorgeous day...it was about 75 degrees and both Kris and I were off work all day together. We got lots done and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We got the flowers planted out front, tomato plants in their pots, the yard cleaned up, played with the hose a bit too much (see the video for a giggle).
We spent about an hour and half at Vanderveer Park. We had a picnic, played and tried to feed the ducks, but they weren't hungry and ignored us. We all took a nap, which was much needed recharging for everyone.

We then had swimming lessons and Sullivan did awesome! He listened much better this time and actually back floated for a few minutes. He enjoys his swimming lessons and the better he behaves the more I enjoy them too. After swimming we got a pizza and came home and of course ate OUTSIDE because it was still 70 degrees and gorgeous. Kris was bit by the firebug a few weeks back, but we haven't had a chance to enjoy our firepit yet this year, so yes, today we enjoyed a fire. Complete with dinner, a beer, and smores...
It was Sully's first time roasting marshmellows and eating smores...Check out the video...however what would our first experience with marshmellow roasting be with out a burn....of course we can't do anything without a boo-boo.
It was a great day with lots of sunshine and I'm sure everyone will sleep like a rock -- Guinness already has a head start since he participated in everything with us except swimming lessons...he's crashed out.
